My name is Daryl and welcome to my blog im a Security Supervisor for the Australian National University a Commonwealth Educational Facility in Australia. So as such im not  private security (we are commonwealth officers) but fall loosely under the law enforcement banner.

Ive been in the industry for 30 odd years ( i know that makes me an old fart haha) and have worked in private industry and other federal units. In that time i have trained with the likes of NSW Corrections Hostage Response team, Australian Federal Police Bomb Data Centre and Bomb Squad, and operational training with the Federal Police amongst others.

I am a police insiginia collector and have a fairly good collection (which im always happy to add too :-)   ). My other interests are weapons and martial arts. I have also been a K9 handler and still reckon you cant beat a good land shark !
