Surrey: On Saturday July 21, 2007 a thirty-seven- year-old Surrey man was arrested after charges were approved and an arrest warrant was issued in connection to the 2005 murder of Lisa CUBIN a thirty-five- year-old Surrey mother.

The Burnaby RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 18 year-old Burnaby resident, Luke RETIEFF. He was last seen at his family home yesterday evening at 5:30 p.m.

WASHINGTON – Thomas Lane, 57, of Indianapolis, was sentenced to 10 years in prison today by U.S. District Judge Larry J. McKinney for possession of child pornography, Assistant Attorney General Alice S. Fisher of the Criminal Division and U.S. Attorney Susan W. Brooks of the Southern District of Indiana announced today.

WASHINGTON – The Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Georgia, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced today that there is insufficient evidence to pursue federal criminal civil rights charges against a Muscogee County Sheriff’s Deputy who shot and killed Kenneth Walker on December 10, 2003.

The FBI today warned the public against three separate Internet scams that continue to flourish through spam e-mails. The warning comes after the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) received a rising number of complaints from citizens over the past few weeks.
